FOURTH WORLD TITLE FOR NEXL IN WRC ESPORTS

KT Racing, Nacon, WRC Promoter and EKO Acropolis Rally Greece are pleased to announce that Frenchman Lohan 'Nexl' Blanc has won a fourth WRC eSports Champion title by winning the World Final 2022 presented by AGON by AOC.

Lohan 'Nexl' Blanc became the first to claim a fourth title in WRC eSports Championship history by winning the 2022 World Finals presented by AGON by AOC. The defending champion qualified in second place for the final before the four stages where regular season MVP Sam-Joe Abi Nakhle was the clear favorite. However, the young Lebanese made one of his rare mistakes in the first test when he hit a wall at high speed in the Col de Braus. After conceding more than forty seconds, he had to make up for it in the three remaining timed sectors. Lohan Blanc and his Race Clutch teammate, John 'Izamusing' Bebnowicz-Harris, took advantage of this and competed for the top step of the podium. Nexl finally won.

"I tried so hard to push Lohan to the limit," he stated. "In the end, I overstepped my own limitations and failed. It's been a long road to this point. I just had tiny details that changed everything. I really wanted to be on the podium today and to get there seems unreal."

For his title, Lohan Blanc won a €25,000 cash prize from WRC game publisher NACON and development studio KT Racing. The Frenchman also received a limited edition TW Steel VS90 WRC watch. John Bebnowicz-Harris received a complete simulator donated by AGON by AOC, Playseat and Fanatec and a limited edition TW Steel VS92 WRC watch. Finally, Marco Botinelli won a TW Steel GT11 WRC watch by finishing third.
