SEASON 6 OF TEST DRIVE UNLIMITED SOLAR CROWN IS NOW AVAILABLE TO ALL PLAYERS
Today we are delighted to announce the launch of the sixth season of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown.
Season 6 of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown introduces a new game mode, Detective, in which players must follow a given target discreetly without being spotted and respecting certain conditions (weather, traffic density, road conditions). Chosen by the community during the Year 2 developer diary, this mode introduces investigative missions deployed between Season 6 and its mid-season update.
This season also brings a complete topographical overhaul of Hong Kong Island to bring it even closer to reality: more detailed zones, in-depth work on buildings (shapes and colours), a greater diversity of green spaces, as well as new billboards, traffic lights and intersections.
Iconic to the first two Test Drive Unlimited games, the clothes shops are making a comeback.
New fashion buildings have been added in Ibiza, allowing players to personalise their avatars even further. Seven new vehicles make their debut, including the Pagani Huayra Roadster, which marks the brand's return to the franchise and inaugurates a series of its different models to come in Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown. To celebrate the arrival of the new Season, world-renowned French brand Michelin is making its debut in the game with a live event, a Michelin x Mercedes-Benz pack available in the online shop, as well as a range of Michelin-licensed clothing for player avatars.
With Season 6, players can look forward to a host of technical and network improvements, including fixes to session and group stability. The development team continues to work on a number of features that will be available in-game over the coming seasons.
To prepare for cross-region and crossplay in the future of TDUSC, the studio is currently focusing on rewriting the server code. The teams are also preparing the Official Racing Center features for Season 7, which will make it easier for players to race against each other in both ranked and unranked modes. Housing will arrive in Season 8 and will include new features related to the social aspect of the game and more.
New for Season 6 :
The arrival of Detective missions, In the first part of the game, players are asked to discreetly follow their target across Hong Kong Island and Ibiza.
The topographical redesign of Honk Kong Island, reworked with more detail, including new signage, traffic lights and intersections.
The arrival of clothing boutiques, allowing players to use in-game currency to buy new cosmetic items for their avatars.
New prestige cars, These include the Pagani Huayra Roadster, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series, the Lamborghini Temerario, the Pininfarina B95, the Bentley Continental GTC Speed Edition 12, the Alpine A110 R Ultime and the Dodge Viper SRT Coupe ‘Vaughn Racing Kit’ (arriving mid-season).
